Corkball

Corkball is a sport often referred to as “mini-baseball”. The stitched ball weighs 1.6 ounces and the bat barrel measures only 1.5 inches in diameter. It is similar to baseball and there must be at least 2 players on each team (pitcher and catcher) with up to 5 as a maximum. The standard playing field is 30 feet wide and 250 feet long. If limited on space, it can be played in a very small area because there is no base-running. When playing on a standard field, the batter must hit the ball at least 15 feet in order to be considered a hit. 15 feet to 150 feet is a single. 151 feet to 200 feet is a double. 201 feet to 250 feet is a triple. Over 250 feet is a homerun. Those distances would be downsized accordingly if playing on a smaller field.
