Areomodelling is a sport in which small model-size aircraft are constructed and flown recreationally or competitively. Model aircraft may be small sized replicas of existing aircraft or up to the imagination. They are generally controlled by either free flight (gliders), control lines (wires or strings tethered to a hand or pole), or radio controlled.
