Fast Pitch Softball is a variant of baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. A softball is larger than a baseball, but despite the name, the ball is hard. The games are played in 7 innings instead of 9. The ball must be pitched underhanded by the pitcher, but it can be piched with great speed and velocity.
